The same Board as in Pilot Desk
Your sheets and folders, and the ones shared with you, are the same in the app and in Pilot Desk. What changes on one side appears on the other straight away.
Share sheets and folders, write together in the same sheet and organise work on card boards. With your Pilot account, it is the same Board as in Pilot Desk. For Mac and Windows.
With your Pilot account, the app opens the same Board you use in Pilot Desk. When someone changes something, everyone else sees it straight away.
This uses your Pilot account. Without an account, the app also works just for you: see how below.
Your sheets and folders, and the ones shared with you, are the same in the app and in Pilot Desk. What changes on one side appears on the other straight away.
Choose people from your company and let them view or edit a sheet, or every sheet in a folder. And if you mention someone with @, the sheet reaches them.
In a shared sheet, several people write at the same time: each one sees the others’ changes as they type, with their name and colour.
The notes and links in your Bucket are the same on your phone (in the Bucket Notes app), in Pilot Desk and in Pilot Board. Add and edit them from any of them, and changes show up on their own.
In the Bucket chat, your own Claude answers questions about your notes and links. The app installs it and connects it with one button. It uses your Claude account, which must be Pro or Max.
The same tools as the Board in Pilot Desk, with or without an account. Without one, everything stays on your computer. With your account, it is saved in Pilot and you share it with whoever you like.

Every sheet in its folder, the important ones starred, and links from one sheet to another.
Columns with the name and colour you want, and cards you drag from one to the next.
Quick, colourful notes, always in sight while you work.
In light or dark mode and in six languages. The first time you open it, it asks for your name and email; you do not need a Pilot account.
Very little, and always the same things.
Just once, when you register. They are kept by Pilot.
With your Pilot account, your sheets, folders, boards, sticky notes and Bucket are saved in Pilot. That is why you also see them in Pilot Desk and on your phone, and the people you choose see them too.
To answer you, the app sends your Claude only what it needs from your notes and links, using your own account. The conversation is saved in your Pilot account.
When you open it, and every half hour while it is open, the app asks pilot.cr whether there is a new version. That check does not carry your sheets.
Without an account, your sheets never leave your computer.
Download the file for your computer and follow these steps. After that, the app updates itself.
Download the Mac or Windows file from this page.
On a Mac, open the file and drag Pilot Board to Applications. The first time, your Mac asks whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet: click “Open”.
On Windows, open the installer. If “Windows protected your PC” appears, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”.
Open Pilot Board and enter your name and email. To work with your team, sign in with your Pilot account.
Short answers to the usual questions.
Nothing. Pilot Board is free, on Mac and on Windows. The Bucket chat uses your own Claude, with your plan.
No. Without an account you write, organise your sheets and use boards and sticky notes, and everything stays on your computer. With your Pilot account you work with your team and use the Bucket.
They see what you share with them: a sheet or a whole folder, to view or to edit. They see it in their Pilot Board or in Pilot Desk, with changes straight away.
Yes, in a shared sheet. Each person sees the others’ changes as they type, with their name.
The list of notes and links in your Pilot account: what you save from your phone, Pilot Desk or Pilot Board, in one place. Its checkbox removes what you no longer need, everywhere.
The app looks for them on its own. When there is one, it lets you know: click “Update and restart” and it installs, with nothing to download.
They stay on your computer. While you are signed in you see your Board in Pilot, and when you sign out they come back, with nothing lost.
The app is free, for Mac and Windows. Each button downloads the latest version.
